Abstract

Children emotional social development related to children interaction with environment, it was also influenced by parents’ communication with children. The purpose in this research examined to know was there any relationship between parents’ interpersonal communication with cgildren toward children emotional social development at students’ group B kindergarten Bunayya Pekanbaru. Researcher used quantitative research method with correlational type, where data collection used questionnaire that was shared to 81 samples by using total sampling technique. Data analysis technique was normality test, linearity test, and hypothesis test. Research finding showed that there was any relationship between parents’ interpersonal communication with their children toward children emotional social development at students’ group B kindergarten Bunayya Pekanbaru. With significant score 0.00 where 0.00 < 0.05. Relationship between parents’ interpersonal communication with children toward children emotional social development came to positive. The level of relationship between parents’ interpersonal communication with children toward children emotional social development at students’ group B kindergarten Bunayya Pekanbaru was classified into middle. It could be seen from correlation pearson score in 0.523.
