Abstract
The duties of the sub-district head are also regulated in article 10 of Government Regulation Number 17 of 2018 which explains several things regarding the duties of the sub-district head, one of which states that: To develop and supervise the implementation of village government in accordance with the provisions of the laws and regulations governing villages; Palmatak sub-district which has an annual budget of approximately 2 billion to close to 3 billion Rupiah, where these funds come from APBN, ADD, BHPRD therefore based on Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 73 of 2020 concerning supervision of Village financial management mandates the sub-district head to carry out supervisory duties Therefore, the researcher tried to research "Supervision of the Subdistrict Head on Village Financial Management in Palmatak District, Anambas Islands Regency. This research method uses qualitative research methods as a technique for data collection and direct interviews with informants, Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Service, Anambas Islands Regency, Head of Palmatak Subdistrict, Anambas Islands Regency, Secretary of Palmatak Subdistrict, Anambas Islands Regency, Auditor of the Government Inspectorate of Anambas Islands Regency and several Heads Village to BPD The results of the research show that the implementation of supervision by the sub-district head on village financial management in Palmatak District, Anambas Islands Regency. Judging from the monitoring indicators, these indicators are preliminary control (Preliminary Control). In carrying out this supervision, the sub�district head has seen that each sub-district has provided a media, namely a Whatsapp group, which consists of sub-district personnel, village heads and village officials for conveying information, coaching, discussions and matters. -matters related to village financial management. Supervision while work is taking place (Concurrent Control) where in this indicator the researcher concludes that the sub-district head is less present in carrying out direct supervision in the villages under the Palmatak sub-district area, however the sub-district sends representatives from existing staff such as the sub-district secretary and so on. Supervision of Feed Back Feedback (Feedback Control) in this supervision the researcher concluded that when there is a problem with village financial management, he has carried out confirmations and so on to overcome this, but so far, in my opinion, sub-district supervision has not been optimal, this is felt by the BPD which is often not involved together in supervising the implementation of village financial management, in addition to human resources in the sub-district
