Abstract

In this study, researchers used research methods with a descriptive qualitative approach. To obtain subject research data, it was obtained through a purpose sampling technique, namely 5 informants. Data collection was carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research are that dentists in health education communication at the Safira Paramitha Duri clinic provide health education to patients regarding the importance of looking after their teeth. This aims to ensure that patients who come are aware of dental health, which is very important for survival. To maintain this health, awareness is needed for all people and individuals. This health education communication regarding dental health aims to ensure that patients know things related to dental health and the responsibility of a doctor in providing dental health information to their patients. With health education communication between doctors and patients, patient awareness will arise and the responsibility of a doctor is very important because what is conveyed is nothing but maintaining the patient's health.
