Abstract
The purpose in this research examined to know the quality of students’ class XI social family environment at senior high school 1 Singingi. How was the level of cognitive achievement result in Islamic education subject of students’ class XI social at senior high school 1 Singingi, how was the influence of family environment on cognitive achievement in Islamic education subject of students’ class XI social at senior high school 1 Singingi. The method in this research was quantitative research with correlational approach. The population in this research involved 58 students with sampling 58 students. Data collection technique used questionnaire, test, and documentation. Research finding showed that the family environment quality of students’ class XI social at senior high school 1 Singingi in 80.9% that classified into very good category. Meanwhile, research hypothesis stated that there was any influence of family environment on cognitive learning achievement in Islamic education subject of students’ class XI social at senior high school 1 Singingi was accepted. The influence of family environment on cognitive learning achievement in Islamic education subject was 0.235 or 23.5% with low criteria.
