Abstract

Culinary tourism is tourism that is influenced by the desire to make a visit to a place where food is made, a food festival with the aim of tasting food. Pekanbaru City is a city that has quite a variety of tourism, including culinary tours, shopping tours, historical tours and many more. The large number of people in Pekanbaru City, especially students of the 2019 class of Fikom UIR, makes shopping places for culinary tourism always busy every day. Osf (One Street Food) is often called the Food Court because the dining area is open and has a choice of culinary outlets in it. This study uses qualitative research methods. Researchers use the theory of the characteristics of CMC (Computer Mediated Communication) as the theoretical basis of the research. Messages produced by the @osf_id account in bulk and comprehensively can be well received by all 2019 Fikom Uir students regarding culinary tourism and the @osf_id account can provide information as well as provide knowledge as an educational tool for 2019 Fikom Uir students about culinary tourism. And the @osf_id account is very effective in providing information related to culinary tourism via Instagram by using the features available on Instagram such as photos or videos, feeds, insta stories, live, reels, highlights.
