Abstract

Religious moderation was very important to be instilled for students in order to create harmony relationship between teacher, students, citizen and environment. It could create peaceful, comfort and safety environment from threaten. The purpose in this research examined to know the effort of Islamic education teacher in instill religious moderation to students. This research used qualitative research with case study approach. Research finding showed that Islamic education teacher effort in instill religious moderation to students with some ways such as students was given advice method. Explaining material in classroom, example, habituation to students to follow religious activity, discipline method to improve students? religious moderation, using counseling such as giving punishment to students who breaking the rule to students that break the rules when moderation coaching process and giving special attention.
