Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Public Relations work program in information publication and new student enrollment services at Riau Islamic University. The Public Relations Program is a work plan prepared by the head of the Public Relations section in the publication of information and new student enrollment services at Riau Islamic University. Qualitative research methods use a descriptive design with data collection carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis. The results of this study can be concluded that the Public Relations work program in information publication and new student registration services at the Islamic University of Riau runs two Direct Marketing and Digital Marketing programs besides that there are various activities that create Riau Islamic University in various media and in the eyes of the public. From the communication process that has been carried out by Public Relations, it has an impact on results, namely achieving the target of students who enroll each year and understanding the flow of new student registration according to the registration wave. Thus, from all the processes of the Public Relations work program in the publication of information and new student registration services at Riau Islamic University, Riau Islamic University's Public Relations has carried out a communication process because in new student registration there is already a section that handles it, the message is conveyed clearly, there are several media used to convey information, and it has an impact on the Public Relations work program in information publication and new student enrollment services at Islamic University of Riau.
