Abstract

After several years of being expanded into a new sub-district area, the sub-district office in North Siantan sub-district is still living in the existing hall and does not yet have a physical sub-district office building, this has an impact on the lack of facilities and infrastructure and will affect the performance of services to the community. Therefore, the author took the initiative to conduct research. By using evaluation theory which looks at expectations and reality, and also this research method uses qualitative research methods as a technique for collecting data and direct interviews with informants such as the North Siantan Subdistrict Head, Head of the Village Governance and Empowerment Section, North Siantan Subdistrict Service Head and Figures and the people of North Siantan. The results of the research show the Evaluation of the Expansion of North Siantan District, Anambas Islands Regency, it can be concluded that. North Siantan District has made progress although there are still many shortcomings, the point of development is that the administration of services to the community in North Siantan District has been carried out at the sub-district office on the same island but there are still many shortcomings in terms of public services, such as facilities and so on. . The increase in political participation has begun to increase and political cadres have begun to grow, even in 2024-2029 there was already 1 resident of North Siantan District who was elected as a member of the legislature, even though in 2019-2024 there was none. Meanwhile, there has been an increase in community welfare in North Siantan District, but not much due to the lack of a manageable budget. Regional competitiveness between sub-districts in Anambas Islands Regency on this indicator has seen progress, with the North Siantan Subdistrict Police being built to provide comfort and tranquility to the people of North Siantan Sub-district.
