Abstract

This research was motivated by many social media that easy to be access by students. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of using social media on students’ Islamic personality at junior high school 03 Bathin Solapan Duri Regency of Bengkalis. The method used quantitative by using correlational approach. The population in this research involved all Islamic students at junior high school 03 Bathin Solapan in 391 students and sample took 198 students. In getting objective and relevant data, it needed technique and data instrument by using questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis technique used normality testing, hypothesis testing and linearity testing. Based on assumption test result, it was stated that distribution data was normal. It was predicted that data analysis could be known that there was any significant influence between social media and students’ Islamic personality.
