Abstract
This study is motivated by the low religiosity of students at SMPN 3 Ukui. The signs that the researcher found such as: there were some students who said bad words or rude things, there was a decrease in student manners, and there were some student who kept chatting when spiritual activities are taking place. Another thing was also found that there were some students who littered and they were also late for class. This study aims to investigate the level of Islamic Studies learning in the material of Faith in Allah in grade VII at SMPN 3 Ukui, to investigate the level of student religiosity at SMPN 3 Ukui and the influence of Islamic Studies learning on student religiosity in grade VII at SMPN 3 Ukui, Pelalawan, Riau. The population of the study is all students at SMPN 3 Ukui as many as 171 students with a total sample of 120 students. The data collection technique of the study is questionnaires. The study has two variables, namely variable X (Islamic Studies learning in the material of Faith in Allah in grade VII) and variable Y (Student Religiosity). From the results of the descriptive test, it is known that the level of Islamic Studies learning in grade VII at SMPN 3 Ukui is 89%, which is in the range of 81% - 100%, which is very high and from the results of the descriptive test, it is known that the religiosity level is 89.80%, which is the range of 81% - 100% with a very high category. Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis testing, it is known that there is an influence of Islamic Studies learning on student religiosity at SMPN 3 Ukui because the significance value is less than 0.05, or 0.00 <0.05. The magnitude of influence level of Islamic Studies learning is 38.8%, it means that there is a low influence because it is included in the range of 0.20-0.399. The coefficient of determination (R-squared) indicates that religiosity is influenced by Islamic Studies learning by 0.38.8%, while the remaining 100% - 38.8% = 61.2% is influenced by other factors which are not examined in this study.
