Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the interaction effect and main influence of Banana Wax Waste POC and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth and production of gambas (Luffa Acutangula L.) Prima F1 hybrid varieties. This research was carried out in the experimental garden of Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru, over a period of 3 months from December 2023 to February 2024. This research used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is Wax Banana Waste POC (P) consisting of 4 levels and the second factor is NPK 16:16:16 (N) fertilizer which consists of 4 levels so that 16 treatment combinations are obtained. Each treatment received 3 replications so that 48 experimental units were obtained. The parameters observed were flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, fruit diameter per plant, number of remaining fruit. The observation data was analyzed statistically and carried out with the Advanced Honestly Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results of the study showed that the interaction between giving wax banana waste POC and NPK 16:16:16 had a significant effect on all parameters. The best treatment is a combination of wax banana waste POC treatment 300 ml/liter of water and NPK 16:16:16 15 g/plant. The main treatment of wax banana waste POC had a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment is 300 ml/liter of water.
