Abstract
This research aims to determine the interaction and main effects of giving concentrations of Humic Acid and Organic NPK on the growth and production of red okra plants on red and yellow podzolic soil. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Air Winter, Air Winter Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, for 3 months starting from December 2023 to February 2024. This research used a Completely Randomized Design consisting of 2 factors and 3 repetitions. The first factor is Humic Acid with 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 5, 10, and 15 ml/l water and the second factor is Organic NPK consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 9, 18, and 27 grams/plant. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant and number of remaining fruit. The observation data was analyzed statistically and carried out with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) Advanced Test at 5%. The results showed that the interaction between Humic Acid and Organic NPK was significantly different in terms of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit planted, weight of planted fruit, and number of remaining fruit with the best treatment being given Humic Acid 15 ml/l of water and Organic NPK 27. g/plant. The main effect of giving humic acid was significant on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant and number of remaining fruit with the best treatment at a concentration of 15 m/l of water. The main effect of giving organic NPK was significant on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, plant fruit weight and number of remaining fruit with the best treatment of 27 g/plant.
