Abstract

The purpose in this research examined to know was there any influence of kaisa method on students’ Al-Qur’an memorizing at elementary school IT Sakinah Pandau Jaya. The type of the study is a quasi-experiment with pre-test and post-test design. The study has a control group and an experimental group. The population of the study is the students in grade V at elementary school IT Sakinah Pandau Jaya as many as 37 students. The data collection techniques of the study are tests and documentation, while the data analysis technique of the study is the statistical t-test technique (independent and paired samples) performed by SPSS version 22 software. The results of the study show that there is a significant difference (sig. 0,000) between students who use the Kaisa method and the deposit method. Based on the study, the Kaisa method is proven to be more effective in improving students’ abilities to memorize Al-Qur’an which can be compared from the significant level (sig. 0,000) between pre-test and post-test. This research hopefully to next researcher that they could be done by using class action research type.
