Abstract

Research entitled "The Effect of Swallow Dung Bokashi Fertilizer and Gandasil-D on the Growth and Yield of Celery Plants (Apium graveolens L.)". This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Air Dingin Street. Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City for 4 months from October 2023 to January 2024. This study aims to determine the effect of interaction and the main effect of Swallow Dung Bokashi and Gandasil-D on the growth of celery plants. This study used a Completely Randomized Design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the dose of Swallow Dung Bokashi with 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 75, 150, and 225 g per polybag. The second factor is the concentration of Gandasil-D consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 2, 4, and 6 g per liter. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaf stalks, number of tillers, fresh weight per plant, dry weight per plant, and root volume. Observation data were analyzed statistically and carried out with the Advanced Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test at the 5% level. The results of the study showed that both the interaction and the main effect of giving Swallow Manure Bokashi and Gandasil-D had a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment was given a combination of Swallow Manure Bokashi doses of 225 g/polybag and Gandasil-D concentration of 6 g/liter. The main effect of giving Swallow Manure Bokashi doses had a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment was at a dose of 225 g/polybag. The main effect of giving Gandasil-D concentration had a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment was at a concentration of 6 g/liter.
