Abstract

The Pelalawan Regency Education and Culture Office in 2023 carried out land acquisition activities for school construction. In the implementation of these activities, problems were found, namely the object of land procurement overlapping ownership and must be resolved in 2023. The Pelalawan Regency Land Office in this case has the authority that is expected to be able to facilitate and complete these activities. The main problems discussed in this thesis are regarding the Authority of the Land Office and the Factors Hindering the Land Office in facilitating land acquisition activities at the Pelalawan Regency Education and Culture Office for the 2023 Fiscal Year.. The type of research in this thesis is observational research with sampling from one population using interviews as a data collection tool. In addition, the author also uses secondary data such as law books, laws and regulations, and previous theses. The data were processed and presented by comparing field data with the opinions of experts or with laws and regulations that were used as a juridical basis in this study. The conclusions drawn in this study were carried out by an inductive method. The results of the study concluded that the authority of the Land Office could not be implemented at the stage of implementation and submission of results due to juridical factors, sociological factors, and technical factors from the Pelalawan Regency Education and Culture Office.
