Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Outdoor Learning method on students' interest in learning science subjects in grade III of SD 023 Pandau Jaya. This study used a pre-experimental design, namely one group pretest and posttest with the research subjects being grade III students of SD 23 Pandau Jaya. This study used a test with a significance level of 5%. Based on the hypothesis test with the paired t test Sig (2- tailed) shows a value of 0.000 with a significance level of 5% which means that the value of ? = 0.05> Sig 0.000. Then H_1 is accepted and H_0 is rejected. So, it can be concluded that the Outdoor Learning method has a positive impact on students in Natural Sciences (IPA) especially in the material on the characteristics of living things in grade III of SD 023 Pandau Jaya, besides that there was an increase in students' interest in learning after the Outdoor Learning method was applied.
