Abstract
This is a qualitative study with a case study approach. This study is motivated by the low learning motivation of students. The focus of the study is how the efforts of Fiqh teachers to increase students’ learning motivation at MTs Al Jami'atul Husna of Sekijang Village, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency. This study aims to find out and describe the efforts of Fiqh teachers to increase students’ learning motivation because there are still some problems of the low learning motivation such as some students are less focused on paying attention to the teachers when explaining the lessons in class. The subject of the study is the Fiqh teachers at MTs Al Jami'atul Husna of Sekijang Village. While the object of the study is the efforts of Fiqh teachers to increase the students’ learning motivation. After doing the study, it can be concluded that: the efforts of Fiqh teachers to increase the students’ learning motivation at MTs Al-Jami'atul Husna Sekijang Village, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency are classified as Good, the teacher has made every effort to increase students’ learning motivation by arousing student interest, creating a pleasant learning atmosphere, giving praise to student success, providing input or comments on student work, providing assessments and creating competition and cooperation.
