Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of reward on the learning discipline of students at Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School, Sosa District, Padang Lawas Regency. This type of research is quantitative with a survey method with data collection techniques carried out are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The number of samples used to obtain the results of this study amounted to 30 students. The results of the study show that from the ANOVA table, it shows a significance value of 0.000, which means that Ha is accepted, H0 is rejected. Meanwhile, the large effect of reward on learning discipline based on the processed coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.425 or 42.5% with strong enough criteria. While the relationship between reward and learning discipline based on the correlation coefficient (R) is 0.652 or 65.2% which is in the range of 0.60-0.799 in the strong category. It can be assumed that every time the reward is increased, it is predicted that it will contribute to increasing student learning discipline by 0.862 or 86.2%. On the other hand, if reward is not applied, the student's learning discipline will also decrease by 0.862 or 86.2%.
