Abstract

This research was motivated by some people lack of understanding appropriate and good investment strategy. It caused most of them were misguided with benefit offers that did not make sense and undefined management. The process in taking decision consisted of some steps such as problem identification, information searching, alternative evaluation, buying decision, and after buying behavior. The purpose in this research examined to know customer decision in gold investment at sharia pawnshop Ahmad Yani branch Pekanbaru. This research was conducted to Mulia customer at sharia pawnshop Ahmad Yani branch Pekanbaru. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. Data collection technique used questionnaire. This research finding showed that in fact, in the process of taking decision, not all Mulia customer at sharia pawnshop Ahmad Yani branch Pekanbaru searching information about gold investment at sharia pawnshop Ahmad Yani branch Pekanbaru through website. Also, not all Mulia customer at sharia pawnshop Ahmad Yani branch Pekanbaru did comparison about the benefit in doing gold investment. In addition, not all Mulia customer at sharia pawnshop Ahmad Yani branch Pekanbaru decided to do gold investment at sharia pawnshop Ahmad Yani branch Pekanbaru to avoid from Magrib (Maysir, Gharar, and usury). In contrast, Mulia customer at sharia pawnshop Ahmad Yani branch Pekanbaru felt satisfy after making gold investment at sharia pawnshop Ahmad Yani branch Pekanbaru and decided to stay in making gold investment at sharia pawnshop Ahmad Yani branch Pekanbaru.
