Abstract
Classroom management is considered as one of the fundamental aspects in the learning system implementation. Classroom management is an activity carried out by teachers in order to create optimal conditions so that the learning process can run effectively in the form of good interpersonal relationships between teachers and students and among the fellow students. Learning attitude can be interpreted as a person’s behavioral tendencies when s/he learns about academic things. Brown and Holtzman in Djaali develop a concept of learning attitude through two components, those are Teacher Approval (TA) and Education Acceptance (EA). Meanwhile, the problem formulation of the study is whether there is a significant influence of classroom management on students’ attitudes in learning Islamic Studies. This study aims to investigate whether there is a significant influence of classroom management on students’ learning attitudes at Ar-Rasyid Elementary School of Pekanbaru. The population of the study is the students in classes V and VI at Ar-Rasyid Elementary School of Pekanbaru. The total population of the study consists of 158 students, with a sample of 80 students. The data collection tecniques of the study are questionnaires and documentation. After conducting the study, based on the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is an influence of classroom management on students’ attitudes in learning Islamic Studies at Ar-Rasyid Elementary School. This is in line with the results of the data analysis that shows that the significance value is less than 0.05, namely 0.000, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted. It means that there is an influence of classroom management on students’ attitudes in learning Islamic Studies at SD Ar-Rasyid Elementary School of Pekanbaru.
