Abstract
Digital payments recently became popular and continued to be used among the community, also supporting the stay-at-home movement. For the majority of the Muslim community, the existence of digital payments greatly helped all business or economic activities with the ease and practicality of using Sharia e-payment. This research was conducted on MSME actors in Pekanbaru. The research problem in this study was how the perception of micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) actors on the use of Sharia-based e-payment transaction services in Pekanbaru. Meanwhile, the purpose of this research was to determine the perception of micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) actors on the use of Sharia-based e-payment transaction services in Pekanbaru. The framework used in this study included perceptions of benefit, ease of use, trust, interest, and risk. This type of research was quantitative, targeting MSME actors in Pekanbaru as respondents. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire or survey with descriptive statistical methods, and the collected data was processed through editing, coding, and tabulation. In data analysis, the author used descriptive statistical methods, presenting data with tables, graphs, pie charts, and percentages. The research sample consisted of 126 respondents. Based on the research results, the perception of MSME actors on the use of Sharia-based epayment services in Pekanbaru, from the 126 respondents surveyed, 51.75% strongly agreed, 44.70% agreed, 3.07% were neutral, 0.45% disagreed, and 0.03% strongly disagreed. The average score was 553, located between the agree and strongly agree regions on the continuum line. The results showed that the perception of MSME actors on the use of Sharia-based e-payment services in Pekanbaru was very strong, with a percentage of 87.71%. This indicated that the majority of MSME actors in Pekanbaru had a supportive or highly supportive view of Sharia-based e-payment transaction services.
