Abstract
Thesis. The Influence of Learning Readiness on Learning Outcomes Writing Short Stories in Indonesian Subject Class XI AKL SMK YABRI Terpadu Pekanbaru Readiness is basically a trait or strength that allows a person to react in a certain way. Readiness is also an important factor in the learning process because it can lead to positive things in achieving goals, accelerating learning and learning outcomes. The learning outcomes obtained by students will vary, because there are many influencing factors. One of them is the opinion of Slameto (2003: 59) that if students learn and there is readiness, then the learning outcomes will be good. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning readiness on Indonesian language learning outcomes for class XI AKL at SMK YABRI TERPADU Pekanbaru. There are two variables in this study, namely the independent variable (X) learning readiness and the dependent variable (Y) learning outcomes. This type of research is a Quantitative Approach. The hypothesis in this study is Ha: that is, the most dense influence between learning readiness and learning outcomes of class XI AKL SMK YABRI Terpadu Pekanbaru. From the questionnaire consisting of 71 items with a scale of 1-5, the range of scores assigned to the learning readiness instrument is 30-150. And the average theoretical score (mean ideal-Mi)123 and standard deviation (ideal standard deviation-SDI) is 5.7. Based on the assessment data, it can be seen that the lowest value is 150 and the highest value is 139. According to the calculation results, the average (mean) is 114.7, the standard deviation is 58.42, the mode is 122.71 and the mean value (median) of 115.75 indicates that the average score of the data is 114.7 lower than the theoretical average score of 123. This means that students' learning readiness is classified as low. The range of scores assigned to learning outcomes is 0-100. And the average theoretical score data (Mean Ideal- Mi) is 73 and the standard deviation (ideal standard-SDI) is 6. Based on the research data it can be seen that the lowest score is 55 and the highest score is 91. According to the calculation results, the average ( mean) of 70.07 standard deviation (standard deviation) of 100.064, mode (mode) of 70.39 and median value (median) of 64.5. From these data it shows that the average score of the data is 70.07 which is lower than the theoretical average score73. This means that student learning outcomes are low.
