Abstract

Mobile banking facilities were able to meet the needs of customers who wanted fast, secure, convenient, affordable, and flexible services that could be accessed through mobile devices. However, despite offering several benefits to customers, the use of this service remained low and was not widely favored. Thus, the proportion of mobile banking usage did not align with the total number of customers, indicating an imbalance between the number of existing customers and those who actually used mobile banking services. The problem statement was whether ease of use, usefulness, security, and trust influenced customer interest in using Mobile Banking at PT Indonesia Sharia Bank Teluk Kuantan Branch. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of ease of use, usefulness, security, and trust on customer interest in using Mobile Banking at PT Indonesia Sharia Bank Teluk Kuantan Branch. This research adopted a quantitative descriptive method with a field approach. Data were collected through various tools such as questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The population studied included 2,320 customers, with a sample of 44 respondents. The research findings indicated that ease of use, usefulness, security, and trust influenced customer interest in using mobile banking services. The correlation coefficient was 19.3%, indicating a relationship. The conclusion was that there was a contribution from the five variables (X) to the dependent variable (Y). The coefficient of determination was 37%, with the remaining 63% influenced by other variables not included in this study. Therefore, the X variables had a relationship with customer interest in using mobile banking.
