Abstract

BUMDes is a village business institution managed by the community and village government in an effort to strengthen the village economy and is formed based on the village needs and potential. The study aims to determine and analyze the management of Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) from the perspective of Sharia Economics in Bukit Gajah Village, Ukui District, Pelalawan Regency. This is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection techniques of the study are observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources of the study are from primary and secondary data. The number of informants of the study is 3 informants. Based on the results of the study, it is found that the management of BUMDes from the perspective of Sharia Economics has 4 influencing principles, namely the principles of cooperation (syirkah), participatory, transparency and accountability. In the principle of cooperation (syirkah), the Amanah BUMDes has implemented elements of mutual help and cooperation with the community which can be found in the business units run by the Amanah BUMDes. Secondly, the participatory principle has been implemented by the Amanah BUMDes because each unit of Amanah BUMDes is related to each other in carrying out a program or activity. The third principle is the transparency, in this principle, the Amanah BUMDes has implemented the transparency principle such as the openness of information regarding matters relating to financial development and information related to the work program carried out by BUMDes. The fourth principle is the accountability. This accountability principle has been implemented in the Amanah BUMDes, namely regarding accountability and authority in business units of the BUMDes by making coordination reports every 3 months. This shows that the management implemented by the Amanah BUMDes is in accordance with Sharia economic principles.
