Abstract

Dompet Dhuafa Riau was formed with the aim and function of collecting and distributing ziswaf (zakat, infaq, alms and waqf) at the national level. This research was conducted at Dompet Dhuafa Riau because Dompet Dhuafa Riau received an award as Riau's leading Amil Zakat Institution from Bank Indonesia Riau in 2020. Dompet Dhuafa itself has long been developing empowerment programs in its various networks in Indonesia, including in Riau province. Let's just say that one of Dompet Dhuafa Riau's empowerment programs is the Dompet Dhuafa Health Program which has played an active role in serving the poor since 2001. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to implement the distribution of zakat funds for the Dompet Dhuafa Riau health program for community welfare. Meanwhile, the aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the distribution of zakat funds for the Dompet Dhuafa Riau health program for community welfare. The informants in this study were 7 people consisting of 1 leader of Dompet Dhuafa Riau, 1 Head of the Dompet Dhuafa Riau Health Program Division, 1 staff member of the Dompet Dhuafa Riau Health Program Division and 4 mustahik people. The collection technique is through observation, interviews and documentation based on data analysis that the author carried out on the results of the answers from respondents, so it can be concluded that in general Dompet Dhuafa Riau's implementation activities for the distribution of zakat funds in the Dompet Dhuafa Riau Health Program for Community Welfare are running well and the poor people are getting benefits. benefit from the distribution that has been made. Programs that have been implemented and distributed to the Dompet Dhuafa Riau health program zakat funds for community welfare are the Dompet Dhuafa Lancang Kuning Hospital (RSLK), Health Post, Alert Ambulance and Mobile Health Services Program. All programs become a forum for distributing health zakat funds from Dompet Dhuafa Riau for community welfare.
