Abstract

THE EFFECT OF COMPETENCE AND MOTIVATION ON TEACHER PERFORMANCE AT SMK N 1 PEKANBARU PUTRI NATAYA MAHARANI NPM. (195210753) The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence and motivation on teacher performance at SMK N 1 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMK N 1 Pekanbaru which is located on Jl. Semeru No. 16, Rintis, Fifty District, Pekanbaru City, Postal Code 28141, Tel: 0761 – 22284. This study uses two independent variables (X1) Competence, and (X2) Motivation while the dependent variable (Y) is Teacher Performance. Sampling using the census method with a total sample taken of 55 people. Based on the results of this study, competence has a partially positive and significant effect on teacher performance at SMK N 1 Pekanbaru. Motivation has a positive and significant effect partially on teacher performance at SMK N 1 Pekanbaru. Competence and motivation have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on teacher performance at SMK N 1 Pekanbaru
