Abstract
Technological advances have produced political communications that have spread to social media, one of which is X. (previously Twitter). In the face of the 2024 elections, the Gerindra Party uses X and optimizes social media as a means of digital campaign to attract the attention and voice of the X users. This study aims to analyze the political communication of the Gerindra Party on social media X using the five elements of Pentad Analysis by Kenneth Burke. (act, scene, agent, agency, purpose). As a result of the various (acts) performed, Prabowo Subianto tends to become an (agent), either directly or indirectly, with the support of the big names around him, as well as campaigns in some places and various characteristics formed (scenes) resulting in relationships between elements that merged into a weapon (agency) in achieving their goal, either the main goal or the specific goals. (purpose).
