Abstract

This thesis is the result of research that discusses the public relations management strategy of Pt Rigunas Agri Utama in the corporate social responsibility (CSR) program in Semelinang Tebing village, Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. This study aims to determine how the public relations management strategy of PT Rigunas in planning CSR programs in Semelinang Tebing village, Peranap sub-district. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used in this research are documentation, interviews and observation. The data sources used in this research are primary and secondary data. The subjects of this research are the public relations of PT Agri Utama and the people of Semelinang Tebing village. This research also uses data checking and validity techniques in the form of source triangulation. And the data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and verification. The results of this study indicate that the CSR program planning carried out by the Public Relations of PT Rigunas Agri Utama consists of four plans, namely: Communication, knowing the audience, calturie, and evaluation. By going directly to the field to convey messages about CSR activities that will be planned. Knowing the audience itself, as Public Relations of PT Rigunas Agri Utama must know what is needed by the community, so that this program will run as expected. Then calturie is also the key to successful planning, seen from the many different cultures that make public relations can see what programs are feasible for the community. Then there is evaluation, before becoming a public relations program, it will evaluate how the analysis of the existing environment is, so that the public relations of PT Rigunas Agri Utama forms several activity plans in CSR planning.
