Abstract
Instagram social media is a social media platform that is effectively used as a promotional medium in today's modern era. This research aims to test and find out how much influence promotions on Instagram @ventelaofficial have on the decision to purchase Ventela shoes among followers, using the Stimulus-Response (S-R) theory as the basis. This research uses quantitative research methods with a sample of 400 people using probability sampling and using simple random sampling techniques. Using a questionnaire as an instrument which was then processed using the SPSS 22 application. Validity test instruments were carried out using Product Moment Correlations and Reliability tests using Cronback Alpha. To analyze using the Simple Linear Regression test. The results obtained were that the promotion on Instagram @ventelaofficial on the decision to purchase Ventala shoes among followers was significant. With the T Test results obtained, the tcount value is 18,624 > ttable with a value of 1,966, meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that this research shows that promotions on Instagram @ventelaofficial have a significant influence on purchasing decisions for Ventela shoes among followers.
