Abstract

Group communication patterns in increasing the cooperation of the wedding organizer team (team amweddingplanner). This study aims to find out how the communication patterns that occur in the amweddingplanner team. Because in a group there is communication in the form of a certain pattern, this communication allows for a form of pattern that is useful to increase the cooperation of the amweddingplanner team. Amweddingplanner is a service that helps brides-to-be to carry out wedding events. This study uses a qualitative method that leads to a descriptive approach, while the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that the group communication pattern used is a wheel network communication pattern, in this network it means two-way communication or channel, where each member will send and receive messages to the communication center, and focus on the leader who is directly conveyed to members in the group or organization. Then in AMWP there are symptoms of groupthink, namely the perception that the state is invincible, belief in group morality, illusion of unanimity.
