Abstract

Wages are a very important thing for a worker in order to meet the needs of his daily life. Wages are also the initial goal of labor in doing a job. In this case the workforce is required to perform and produce a job that has been determined as stated in the work agreement. However, in practice in the field of companies there are still many obstacles and obstacles that occur in terms of implementing proper remuneration for workers. The main problem of this research is how the implementation of wages according to PKWT at PT. Srikandi Inti Lestari Pekanbaru Branch and Factors supporting and inhibiting factors in the provision of wages at PT Srikandi Inti Lestari Pekanbaru Branch Based on PP No. 36 of 2021 concerning Remuneration. The type of research used in this research is a type of sociological research which is carried out by means of a survey, namely research directly to the research location using a data collection tool in the form of interviews. Meanwhile, if seen from its nature, this writing is descriptive, which means that the research is intended to provide a detailed, clear and systematic description of the main research problems. The results of research regarding the importance of implementing a national wage system. The system is needed so that the determination of wages is above the minimum living needs of the workforce. Enforcement of the minimum wage through the national wage system is also directed at increasing the welfare of workers, increasing productivity, and seeking equal distribution of income in the context of creating social justice.
