Abstract

Work engagement is work stress that will make a person feel meaningful and united in a company, which will ultimately improve performance within the company. This research aims to determine the relationship between work stress and employee work engagement on the PT. The method in this research uses a quantitative approach with a population of 60 people using a saturated sampling method where the entire population in this research is sampled. The measuring instrument used on the work stress scale is 17 items and the work engagement scale is 17 items. The results of this study used Spearman'Rho correlation analysis. Based on the Spearman Rho analysis testAccording to the correlation test above, the correlation results between Job Stress and Work Engagement are (r) = 0.740 and it is known that the significant value is -0.050 < 0.05. The results of this research show a negative relationship between work stress and work engagement.
