Abstract

The implementation of dance art at SMA Negeri 1 Hulu Kuantan is an extracurricular activity of dance creations manurunkan jalue. This study aims to describe the implementation of extracurricular learning of the art of creative dance in the way of the road, describe the learning methods used by teachers and describe the learning outcomes. This qualitative research uses primary data sources and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The validity of the data uses triangulation techniques, namely data sources and time. The results of the research on the implementation of dance extracurricular activities were carried out through three stages, namely preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. The implementation of extracurricular activities fulfills the learning components, namely objectives, teachers, students, methods and media. The media for the implementation of extracurricular activities of creative dance uses lectures, demonstrations and practice methods. The lecture method is used to provide material about the process of creating dance movements and the introduction of dance properties. The demonstration method was carried out by a coach who directly danced the dance creation "Manurunkan Jalue". The practice method is carried out by students after the coach gives dance movements. The results of learning to dance the creation of the jalue using informative assessments in the form of A (Very Good), B (Good), C (Enough) and D (Not Good).
