Abstract

Women as workers are required to fulfill various responsibilities at work, following the rules, carrying out tasks or obligations and maintaining relationships with colleagues, superiors, and others collaborate with a team. Women who have roles as workers and wives and mothers of their children will experience role conflicts caused by an imbalance between work and family. Required for women to have a role, can put complicated situations between work interests and family needs. Objective This research is to determine the role conflict between teachers and positions Structural vocational high schools in Pekanbaru. Respondent The research consisted of 3 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This research uses qualitative research methods case study approach. The data collection method uses interviews and observations. The research results can be concluded that Women who have multiple roles will experience conflict in the form of work and family, On indicators related to relationships in the family, family time, parenting, communication and interaction with husband and children, setting priorities, working overtime, being responsible for more than one job, career pressures, and relationships with coworkers.
