Abstract

Universitas Islam Riau Advisor: Drs. Alzaber, M.Si. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the Diagram Board teaching aid on the learning achievement of students at SDN 158 Pekanbaru. This study is a quasiexperimental study (Quasi Experiment) with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were all grade VI students of SDN 158 Pekanbaru in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample of this study was class VI.A as the control class and class VI.B as the experimental class, with 36 students in the control class and 38 students in the experimental class. The data collection instrument in this study was the Pretest and Posttest sheets. The data collection technique was carried out using the test technique. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Judging from the posttest score, it is known that students who use teaching aids are higher than those who use conventional models, then the average increase in learning achievement in the experimental class is 38.1 while the average increase in learning achievement in the control class is 33.89. So it can be seen that there is an influence of the Diagram Board teaching aid (PADI) on student learning achievement. Based on the inferential analysis conducted, it shows that there is a significant difference between the average learning achievement of students in the experimental class and the control class.
