Abstract
This research aims to explore and analyze the perceptions of female students regarding the catcalling phenomenon in the environment of the Islamic University of Riau. The research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires that encompass questions related to radical feminism theory. The findings indicate that the catcalling phenomenon within the campus environment remains a significant concern, with many cases attributed to the persistence of patriarchal beliefs among male students. This research holds significant importance as it directly impacts the comfort and safety of female students in their learning environment and the broader academic community. Despite efforts by the university to provide facilities aimed at addressing this issue, awareness and information about these facilities are not widespread. Therefore, further measures are needed to enhance awareness and protection for female students.
