Abstract

Teluk Paman Timur Village has special values that are local wisdom, where the community in Teluk Paman Timur Village manages traditional community-based fishery resources with the term lubuk larangan. The management of lubuk larangan in Teluk Paman Timur Village is a form of concern for the preservation of natural resources so that the results can be utilized. Managed by the Village Government and Customary Institutions as advisors, this research aims to find out the Role of the Village Government in Managing Lubuk Larangan Local Wisdom in Teluk Paman Timur Village, Kampar Kiri District, Kampar Regency and find out the inhibiting factors. The method used in this research is the Qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research related to the role of the Village Government in managing the lubuk larangan in Teluk Paman Timur Village, Kampar Kiri Sub-District, have been managed quite well, but there are several obstacles that hinder the Village Government in managing the local wisdom of the lubuk larangan, including those caused by natural factors where every year there is a flood which causes the fish in this river to come out of the lubuk larangan area, besides that there is a change in the direction of river flow caused by erosion so that it makes a new river flow where this new river flow no longer flows into the old river flow which is the lubuk larangan area itself.
