Abstract

This study aims to produce Interactive Multimedia Games based on construct 2 software in Biological Science subjects for junior high school students in grade VIII. This research is a type of development research (Research and Development) with the development of the ADDIE method. The subjects of this research were VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru, SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru and SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru. The research data were obtained from validation sheets assessed by material experts, media experts, learning experts and Biology Science teachers, as well as practicality questionnaires obtained from the results of limited trials from students. The results of this study indicate that the quality of the validity of learning media, namely Interactive Multimedia games based on the results of material expert validation, falls into a very valid category with an average percentage of 91.66% (very valid), the results of media expert validation get an average percentage of 95.00% (very valid), learning expert validation gets an average percentage of 94.44% (very valid). and the results of validation by three Biology science teachers get an average percentage of 98.61% (very valid) and the results of the trial to students, namely the analysis of student practicality by getting an average percentage of 91% (very valid). and validity and reliability tests are very valid with Excellent interpretation. based on these several categories, it can be concluded that the learning media, namely Interactive Multimedia Games based on Construct 2 Software in Biological Science subjects, especially on the material of the circulatory system in humans developed are very valid, and can be used as media that can help the learning process both offline and online and get positive responses from students.
