Abstract
of Riau Supervisor : Sepita Ferazona, S.Pd.,M.Pd ABSTRACT The development of teaching materials for the Learning cycle 5e module is included in research and development (R&D). This research aims to produce valid teaching materials for the Learning cycle 5e module on the respiratory system. This development research uses the ADDIE development model which has three stages, namely Analysis, Design and Development. The data collection instruments used are validation sheets and validated student response questionnaires. The sampling technique used in the research was saturated sampling. Data collection was carried out using validation sheets and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using scale method analysis techniques with a modified Likert scale. Validation results by media experts show that the learning media developed has an average percentage of 95% (very valid). The validation results by material experts obtained an average percentage of 91.67% (very valid). The validation results by learning experts obtained an average percentage of 98.3%. Validation results were also obtained from three science teachers with an average percentage of 97.4% (very valid). The teaching materials developed received a good response from students at three schools with an average percentage of 91.28% (Very High). So it can be stated that the Learning cycle 5e module developed is very valid and suitable for use in learning.
