Abstract

The development of electronic comic learning media is included in research and development (R&D). This study aims to produce learning media in the form of electronic comics on valid and good biological technology innovation material. This development research uses the 4D development model which has 4 (four) stages, namely, the defining stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the distribution stage. The data collection instruments used were validity sheets, interview sheets, and validated practicality questionnaires. The sampling technique used in the study was simple random sampling. Data collection was carried out using validity sheets and questionnaires. The results of validation by media expert validators show that the learning media developed get an average percentage of 90% (very valid). The results of the material expert validator get an average percentage of 100% (very valid). The results of validation by learning expert validators get an average percentage of 96.87% (very valid). The results of practicality by students in using electronic comics show that the electronic comics developed get an average percentage of 86.24% (very good). The conclusion is that the electronic comic learning media on the material of biological technological innovation gets a percentage of the validity percentage of 96,55% in the very valid category and a percentage of 86,24% in the good category.
