Abstract

ersity of Riau Advisor: Nurul Fauziah S.Pd, M.Pd ABSTRACT Visual learning style is one of the ways individuals process learning. This study aims to find out how the relationship between students' visual learning style and science learning outcomes of SMP N 1 Kubu. This research is a type of correlation research, the method used in this study is the correlational method. The sampling technique in this study uses random sampling techniques. The results of the analysis of correlation coefficient data (cal) of 0.61 with a significant level of 5% have a correlation in the strong category. From the hypothesis test, it was obtained that tcount = 8.51 and compared with ttable = 2.00, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Then from the results of the coefficient analysis, determination was obtained by 37.61%. This shows that the magnitude of the influence of learning style on learning outcomes (Y) is 37.61% while 62.39% is determined by other variables or factors that can affect student learning outcomes which are not discussed in this study. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between students' visual learning styles and science learning outcomes for SMP N 1 Kubu for the 2024/2025 Academic Year, including in the strong category.
