Abstract

The purpose of this study aims to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of grade XII science 1 students of SMAS ANA MUSLIM KUNTO DARUSSALAM through the application of picture and picture cooperative learning using handouts. The population in this study is all students of grade XII Science 1 SMAS ANA MUSLIM KUNTO DARUSSALAM with a total of 30 students. The sample in this study consists of two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. The data collection technique in this study is in the form of a test. The data analysis technique in this study uses data processing techniques for student learning outcomes. From the analysis of cognitive learning outcomes, it was found that the average score increased from 87.8 to 90.8. In the first cycle, the number of students who completed was 25 people with classical completeness (83.3%) to 28 people with classical completeness (93.3%). In the second cycle, there was an increase of 10%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the results of .
