Abstract
This research aims to produce a teaching material module for the biodiversity of ferns in the Guntung River Indragiri Hilir coconut plantation area for biology subjects for class X SMA/MA. This research is a type of Development Research with the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation), but is limited to the development stage. The subjects of the teaching materials are class X students of SMAN 1 Kateman, MA Al-Ikhlas, and MA Tarbiyah Islamiyah. Research data was obtained from validation sheets assessed by validators, namely material experts, media experts, four learning experts, and questionnaire responses obtained from student questionnaire results. The results of this research show that the quality of the validity of the teaching material module based on the validation results of material experts gets an average of 100% (very valid), the validation results of media experts get an average of 90% (very valid), the validation results of four learning experts get an average 98.33% (very valid), and the total results of the six experts were 96.11% (very valid). The results of the student questionnaire obtained an average of 86.56% (very good), based on several categories, it can be concluded that the learning module developed is very valid and can be used as teaching material that can help students' learning process.
