Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the impact that utilizing the Beelinguapp application has on the students' ability to communicate verbally and to determine the ways in which the Beelinguapp can help students enhance their speaking abilities. There were seventy students from the tenth grade at SMAN 2 Koto Kampar Hulu who participated in this research. For the purposes of this study, the Beelinguapp program serves as the independent variable, while the students' ability to communicate serves as the dependent variable. The research was carried out through the use of experimentation. One of the instruments that was used was the speaking exam. The formula and the SPSS 25 version were the methods that were utilized in the analysis of the data. It was determined by the researcher that the use of the Beelinguapp program had a substantial impact on the pupils' ability to communicate at SMA 2 Koto Kampar Hulu. Beelinguapp application material that is beneficial for correcting the pupils' speaking skill problems is the consequence of utilizing Beelinguapp. The t-table was higher than the t-calculated value, which was 1.667, which was greater than 7.187. This research also shown a significant influence between the accomplishment of students in speaking when they were taught within and outside the Beelinguapp program. Following the implementation of the Beelinguapp program, the students demonstrated that there was a substantial difference in their mean scores in both the post-test experiment class and the control class. The experimental class reported a mean score of 81.14 on the post-test, which was significantly higher than the control class's mean score of 76.71 on the same exam. Furthermore, there was a substantial difference in the level of achievement demonstrated by the experimental class in comparison to the control class. It is possible to draw the conclusion that the Beelinguapp application helps students develop their speaking skills. Additionally, there were certain challenges that students had when speaking at SMAN 2 Koto Kampar Hulu, but these challenges can be overcome by utilizing the Beelinguapp program in the teaching and learning process.
