Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of using BBC Learning in listening comprehension in second grade students at PGRI Pekanbaru High School. This research focuses on experimental research. It consists of one class pretest and post-test. The population of this study was the second grade students of PGRI Pekanbaru High School in the 2023/2024 school year consisting of 57 students. The researcher took one class as the research sample, namely the second science class. The data of this study were obtained from listening comprehension tests in pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the average value of the pre-test was 50.81 and the post-test was 71.75. This means that the use of BBC Learning English can improve students' listening comprehension. It can be concluded that the result of this research is BBC learning English Videos in English learning can improve the listening comprehension of second grade of SMA PGRI Pekanbaru.
