Abstract
Fires occur frequently and cause huge losses, both material and life. The rate of fire occurrence in Indonesia increased in 2023. This research aims to design an indoor fire early warning system using Internet of Things (IoT) technology and fuzzy logic. This system uses flame sensor to detect fire and MQ-2 sensor to detect smoke, with ESP32 microcontroller as data processor. Tsukamoto method fuzzy logic is used to determine the level of fire occurrence. Warning notifications are sent via the Telegram application, and monitoring data can be accessed in realtime via the website. The test results show that the system is effective in detecting fires and providing early warnings. With fast and accurate information, immediate action can be taken to tackle fires and reduce the impact of losses.
