Abstract
This research aims to develop an automatic clothes drying system and identify issues related to weather uncertainty and monitoring limitations in the drying process. The study seeks to design and implement a smart clothesline based on the Internet of Things (IoT). A prototyping method is used with the NodeMCU microcontroller, sensors such as Raindrop, DHT22, and LDR, as well as a servo motor to move the clothesline. By using a website as a monitor and control interface, this system provides a solution to concerns about clothes drying in unpredictable weather. The analysis and implementation results show that this system can function well, offering users convenience in controlling the clothesline and sending notifications via Telegram when it rains. Therefore, this research contributes to solving issues related to clothes drying by utilizing IoT technology.
