Abstract

Agriculture is a key aspect of the livelihoods of most Indonesians. There are many food crops developed and cultivated in Indonesia. Farmers find it difficult to analyze the causes of crop failure because of the lack of information about the kinds of disease pests that attack corn crops, which leads to reduced productivity. The study aims to help young farmers determine the disease control that exists in corn crops. The research uses Profile Matching methods, data obtained through field surveys and literature studies on pests and diseases in corn crops. The system is built using PHP and MySQL programming languages for databases. The test was conducted by comparing the identification of the system with the manual identification results. The test results showed that the system could help farmers in identifying pests and diseases faster and more accurately than the manual method with an average of 76%.
