Abstract

Student attendance needs equipment to make it easier to monitor learning hour activities as well as to facilitate the recapitulation of student attendance every month to obtain more efficient and accurate data. One of the activities controlled is the activity of student work entry and exit hours and a recapitulation of these activities every month. If there is no monitoring system with this presence, things will happen such as the weakening of the market or industry on the campus itself because students are not controlled or not monitored properly so that it will affect the company's performance. In the previous attendance system, students were absent by being called one by one. Manual attendance has various disadvantages such as cheating, requires a lot of paper and ink, requires a lot of space as storage, and others. The application of this tool will provide new knowledge of the attendance system using RFID. Later this tool will be designed using NodeMCU and RFID connected to the web designed so that the tool can be tested using RFID cards. By using these devices, teachers can save time because there is no need to call students one by one to make absences. The second is a website that can recap attendance data automatically after students make attendance through RFID devices. This website can facilitate the processing of attendance data and also make it easier for teachers to look back at attendance data a few months ago because the stored data will not be lost.
