Abstract
The large number of interested tourists visiting the city of Pekanbaru makes the hotel a tourist destination for places to stay and rest. In choosing a hotel there will be several considerations such as hotel prices, what facilities are available, the services provided, and the distance from crowds or shopping centers. With the choice of several of these hotels, it will certainly be difficult for consumers or tourists to determine which hotel meets the desired criteria. Therefore, a decision support system is created that can help tourists in choosing hotels, so that tourists can get decisions that are fast and according to their needs. The method used in making this system is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). This method can determine the weight value for each attribute, then proceed with a ranking process that will select the best alternative from a number of alternatives. With this ranking method, it is hoped that the assessment will be more precise and accurate because it is based on predetermined criteria and weight values so that more precise and accurate results will be obtained in selecting hotels in Pekanbaru City. This hotel selection decision support system provides results in determining the right hotel selection based on criteria and also makes it easier for visitors or the public to find or choose hotels that suit visitors' wishes.
